What is more likely to bring you to tears?

This may not be another knitted tear-jerking story,i'd want to share.
I am just curious what could be more likely to well up your tears. A funeral of an immediate kins/siblings/friends,a fiction, a tragic movie, a sensational news report,a harsh scolding,a sad music,a depression,an illness, injuries,or a SLICED ONION for that matter can all be a tear-jerker.
I mostly cry in the theatres or while reading sensationalist sad and tragic news report(eg; Sept. 11 tragedy). Need we hide the tears? Can't be possible.

Hello rekhum!
Well, I'm a relly sensitive person, so almost anything brings me to tears. Arguing or even knowing a friend is sad makes me wanna cry. Feeling guilty makes me cry too, even if that wasn't my fault at all. Maybe it sounds stupid but can't change my mood.

Most of the time, I cry after watching tragic movies/dramas, listening to sad music, or reading sad stories. Thinking back on past memories that I can never return to sometimes makes me sad to the point of tears, as well. I don't cry too often, though, since I'm somewhat of a skeptic & a cynic.

hi, rekhum! I got a little teary just a while ago just watching an episode in tv. one of the hosts of the show is leaving the show and his co-hosts is giving him a farewell tribute. It was so touching because sometimes, tv hosts just come and go without any noticing that they've left. I observed that the hosts of that show had become very good friends through the years of being together. So their farewell tribute was also really a tear-jerker.

We shouldn't hide our emotions. I am not ashamed to cry, and I do so regularly. A piece of beautiful music can lift us to a place that makes us cry tears of emotion and sensitivity (they are neither of joy nor sadness... so it's very hard to describe them.. they just "get us" haha)... I went to the theatre tonight, and one song made me tingle and desire to cry..
It's lovely that we can feel these emotions.. why hide from them?

I cry when I see people cry and everytime I attend the sunday service at church, hearing touching testimonies just makes the tears well up in my eyes. Watching a sad or a very romantic movie makes me cry too. I shed tears whenever I see a very old person begging in the streets...sigh..if I could only do something..but that's another story.

I don't cry often. The last time i cried maybe is last year when i was treated unjustly, what i did was misunderstood by others.I like to smile, but i don't think i am optimistic, i avoid to watch tragic moive, read sad stories or listen to tragic news, because each of them will be my tears jerker.

2 things that is sure to bring tears to my eyes is child abuse and animal cruelty. I cannot hear about this in the news watch a programme with these issues without having tears running down my chin. In my opinion this is the 2 worse criminal activities one can comit, and they should both have a way higher priority in the justice system all around the world.
