tell me how should i handle my mother?

when my mother found out that i am in speaking terms with my sister, she banned me from going to their house. for some reason because she thinks that her enemy's friends are her enemies also. My father is sick right now, he has been wishing for me to come and visit him there but my mom would not allow it..so how can i help him?
