Will my cat be okay if...

I agree with GardenGerty, your cat will be fine. When you get back, he might avoid you for a while because he's annoyed you were gone (Years ago I had a cat who would stay away from me for a couple of hours and as he got older, he couldn't wait to see me). Now I have 5 cats and 2 of them are on medication, so we all go away on vacation together. Enjoy your time away, your cat will be okay.

well, if your cat likes your mom, then nothing to worry about, just make sure your mom like your cat too, so that everything will turn out fine :D good luck to both :D

If she's feeding him & giving him water. Cleaning his cat box & all that stuff, even if he hides under the bed when she comes, so long as the food is being eaten he should be fine. He can even not eat for A day, but more than 3 she should get worried.

i think your cat just be fine as long he like your mom.Your cat has to be familiar to other person so your cat will not be a tame.Just get him usuall with other person is good think....

I think your cat will be fine. I am sure as long as he is fed, his litter is cleaned out, and she gives him attention when he wants, they will both do okay.

Unless your mom is a monster type of person who hates cats, yours should be okay. I assume she is not, or you would not leave him with her. He will probably find a favorite hidden place and stay in it until he feels it is safe to dash out to eat, then he will go back there. He will be curious, but will wait until no one is looking before he will investigate. Leave something, like a pillow case, that smells like you for your mom to put in a spot for him. I bet you will miss him more than he will miss you.

As long as your cat likes your mom you should not have to worry..He will miss you but he will be okay..
