What would you do if you have the ability to see things in advance?

When I was a kid, its normal to hear things even if you don't see where it's coming from. But as i grow older I begin to hate what I see and hear. I promised myself not to entertain it but the more I resist it, the more it comes to me..call it weird, but i dream of events before it happens about people connected with me..my friend told me that I have a gift, that i should warn people about what i see..( i did that before,end up being called paranoid) What would you do if your power is already confusing you from reality?
