Today was our 6 year anniversary!

Well, my wife and I have made it to 6 years of marriage, with some dramas along the way, but we are very happy, and see our future together looking even happier. Things didn't go according to plan, though, as our intended baby sitter(nanna) rang up first thing this morning in a real panic, apologising that she had a vomiting bug and couldn't look after our son. So we included him into our plans. Then when we we're arriving at the city, we got held up by a long, slow moving train, which eventually stopped, apparently from a breakdown! So we had to find an alternate route into the city! Oh well, at least we eventually got there and had a lovely meal, and then went toy shopping, lol! Not our original plan, but it kept us all happy!

Congratulations and best wishes for another 6 years. I have been married for 12 and it has been a rocky road but I think that only makes you a stronger couple! Not many people will work on a relationship these days and there are times that you both just have to give a little and realize that you are both human and will make mistakes.

You've got double the years on us, good for you! I also believe that couples that stick out the hard times end up stronger, and as you say, so many are happy to take the easy way out! Bit of give and take, plus good communications help to make a good relationship, and I can see my wife and I as happy in another six years. Thanks!!

congrarulation on 6 years together, her is to anohter 6 yippee, its me and my partner 7 year anniversary next month, dont know if he has anything planned, but im looking forward to it!!

Congrats!!! Today is my 6th year and I can truly relate to having drama along the way. As I look back on the 6 years it is truly worth it because our love is stronger than all that drama and as long as we are willing to work to keep our marriage strong that is all that matters.

Sometimes things don't work out the way that we originally planned....it sounds like you got to spend a lovely evening with your lovely family....
