Halloween Night? On the 31st or not?

I was just wondering out there how many people don't actually trick or treat on Halloween night. My town has trick or treat this thursday the 26th, when I grew up it was always on the 31st. It just doesn't feel like Halloween to me not going on the 31st.

Wow its been 5 years and you never got a single response thats crazy. I hate seeing that. I'm glad I stumbled on your discussion. I feel the same way as you do I hate when towns have trick or treating on a night other then Halloween. It is SO stupid. Whats next are they going to change Christmas just to make it more conveinient to? Trick or treating should be ON halloween. One year they changed it and did it the day before Halloween in our town and everyone threw a fit about it and it hasent been done since. That was 4 years ago.
