I'm glad to hear that you got the day off to yourself with no children. I know how it is to have alot of things to do and no time to enjoy life. I would spend half the day getting things done and the other half enjoying my time off if I were you.

Girl, I need to clean my bedroom too and please don't even mention laundry. No you should be home cleaning and enjoying the peace that is doing something nice for yourself. Those moments without the children are priceless and take it from me they may never move out at least that is how it seems. I love when I have my house to myself I don't have to go anywhere and when you go out you usually spend money. LOL

girl girl girl you don't know. today was a rare moment for me. i always have one of them here. and today was a day to myself and i had no idea what to do. so i went out and got my nails done and my toes. i came back cleaned my room down honey. picked up my baby girl up from big girl school early from school with a hand full of ballons, to find out that my baby girl didn't want me to pick her up, she wanted my sister. so my heart was broken.
my older son just told me that he wants to go away to college this Jan. instead of next Jan. so i got one ready to leave his momma

when u say " i got day off n no children" do u mean that u don't have children or ur child is somewheres else? well if u don't have children then instead of being cleaning the house u should b having some fun with ur friends,,n if u do have children then get a babysitter n dedicate the day 2 urself n pamper urself,,go 2 a spa or a gym or maybe treat urself 2 a good movie n just relax n take the pressure off 4 a little while.

I and my son rent a room from some friends. We've lived with them for 3 years. they are coming back from a week's vacation tomorrow and so I really have to clean today. I have Friday through Sunday off from work and Friday is usually nightgown day for me. But today I have to jump on it and get some stuff done before they return tomorrow. I've never been one to kill myself cleaning but this time I'm going to have to. Pray for me!
I think you should give yourself a set time limit to work and after that, regardless of what gets done, do something nice for you.

The housework will still be there...something nice for yourself is well deserved, my friend....
Myself...I would probably attempt to get things done at the house that are challenging with the kids around...but would dream of running off to the mall or lunch with some of my friends....
OR I would be running those errands that seem to take forever dragging my son in and out of his carseat...to go into a place for 5 minutes and then off again...I know that you know what I mean...LOL
Maybe a nap would help you to clear your head and help you to decide how to spend your valuable time off of work...
Whatever you decide to do...I hope that you have a lovely day....
