Probably when I still lived back in the Dominican Republic. I have loads memories of my life there...I remember this ugly doll I used to alwayyyys carry around, it had no legs and arms (it had broken and I refused all new ones) and it smelled really bad because I constantly chewed on her hair. LOL. I remember someone taking it from me in school and throwing it out somewhere and I cried so, so much that I got sick all over myself and my mom had to come pick me up. I remember crying so much, because we never found her. I remember running away from a neighbor's huge dog (well, when I look at pictures of him now I realize he was teeny. Lol!) with my brother and thinking I was going to die. I remember sitting on my mom's lap while she taught me to read. I remember my brother throwing a toy car at my wrist and me putting a TON of bandaids all over my wrist thinking it was broken. I remember not knowing English yet (still living back in Dominican Republic) but all of our crayons had the color names in English, so we would pronounce them all wrong. Blue was "Bloo-eh", purple was "Poor-pleh" and so on. Lol. I love thinking about those times.

I was about 2 years 10 months and I can remember being on holiday with my mum and dad in Wales and sitting in the car saying in two months time I'm going to be three years old. I'm very lucky to have said such a thing that marks the time so well!!

I remember when I was 5 years old our apartment caught on fire - we didn't have a phone and my mother told me to run next door and have them call the fire department. I ran down the stairs, across the gravel driveway and my mother yelled not to go because she got the fire out. I was mad because I ran across that driveway in my bare feet and then didn't get to call the fire department.

I was a little child: one or two years old, we were on vacation in a rent house for the month of August and the sole exact image I'm sure I remember is: me sitting in my little chair, which I still have at home, face to the corner because I was in punishment, and I was silent and still... Nothing more. Funny, isn't it? bye bye

an experience like that, being in some place, going on a trip, etc... can really put a mark on our memory ha, maybe that's why they're memorable-
