It represents the number of posts. If you haven't already, you might want to read the mylot guidelines, which can be found by scrolling to the bottom of this page. At the bottom, next to the word toolbar, is guidelines. They explain a lot of stuff new mylotters have questions about. Welcome to MyLot!

Also, in the same line that included guidelines, you might read the part that says 'about mylot.'
