Does Friday the 13th concern you?

Even though my relatives came from the 'Old Country' as they called it and had quite a few superstitions...I no longer subscribe to them. With my 'energy-based' framework I follow what my Mom always taught me..."Don't borrow trouble by focusing your thoughts and energy on what you DON'T want you might draw it to you. Instead, keep your attention on what you DO want...and you might just get it." With that in mind I refuse to 'think' something bad will happen...because it just might...whether it if Friday the 13th or any other day. See my Mom could have written...The Secret...she had it figured out a long time before the mass media got on the band wagon. Oh well, either way it is a good message. Thanks Mom...I bet you never thought I'd be sharing you wisdom on Mylot!LOL

I was only aware that is Friday 13th a couple of hours ago. For me nothing changes except i´m feeling a little slippy today. But i think that is because i didn´t sleep very well last night . lol. But the day it still going on , nothing different from the other days, except being Friday and the weekend in near!!! Lets see what happens tonight. another thing: i post a topic that no one saw yet and its very funny - it calls "nice thoughts :)" check it out and put some answers, please. Thanks!

I'm also like you in that Friday the 13th doesn't bother me. I'm not that superstitious and Friday the 13th is just like any other day. In fact, it didn't even cross my mind until my sister mentioned it to me. I guess that it really just differs from person to person. Enjoy your day!

I look at it as a good luck day....always works for me, thinking it will be a bad day helps make it one! =)

today is a good day for me.. there are lot of things happen to day that made my day complete.. it's a good day for me today..

friday the 13th does not bother me at all. its just like any ordinary friday which i look forward to for the following day saturday is a no work day.

Gee, I never would have known it was Friday the 13th had it not been for numerous topics on mylot. I could care less if it is Friday the whatever. I will walk under ladders whenever I want and cross the path of every black cat I see. Supersticions are based on fears and fears are so often unfounded.

I actually tend to have pretty descent luck on Friday the 13th's I was born on that day lol

I dont let it bother me as to me its just like any other day. Nothing bad has ever happened to me on a Friday 13th but i'll be watching my back while out tonight as knowing me something will happen after writing this. lol

Friday the 13th doesn't bother me at all. I consider it as any other day of the week. I was born on the 13th, so I guess 13 is a lucky number for me.
