LOL, I just noticed...

Because this is a very hot topic in the world right now and no matter what side you take, some people are going to be for it and some will be against it. I have learned to choose my battles wisely on Mylot. If it is something that I am passionate enough about, then I don't care how people rate me, but if it is not that serious, then I skip it.

I've figured out very fast here on MyLot that topics pertaining to homosexuality and religious topics and politics are all really touchy to some people. If someone doesn't agree with you on topics like this they are more likely to give you negative ratings. Silly I know but it happens. That's why I never give anyone a negative rating for their opinion as long as they aren't being rude or mean about it.

There is a rather large group of members on here that do not care for the gay lifestyle or any mention of it. There have been a few cases of outright hatred towards gays posted in discussions and I have actually dropped a few people from my friends list because they were part of it. Call it ignorance, intolerance, or religious fervor but the mere mention of homosexuality gets a lot of people fired up in a negative way. This tolerant straight man is rating you a + for this discussion.

well, you know what... there are many people on Mylot and sometimes it runs into someone that doesn't like this topic and doesn't matter what you post... It is hard to make them understand your point... However, I love all the post that they have here on Mylot. Sometimes I run into something that I never see before and it just helpful... you know that right?

You are obviously upsetting somebody with whatever you post. However i do not think you should take this too seriously. The rating system stinks anyway, but your rating does not affect your earnings, as far as i am aware. So just let the kids play, and keep posting what you have on heart, not what you think they might want to hear from you. Greetings
