How will you rate youtube.com?

Well for me, youtube is not that nice anymore. Because they deleted some episodes of a certain tv show that i'm watching so i wasn't able to follow the episodes anymore. Aside from that my favorite pocoyo in english are all gone and now it is all spanish.. arrgghh...

I was promoting this on-line business...http://www.grabthepopcorn.com It is basically a wholesale entertainment company with sort of a unique marketing thing going. It launches in a couple weeks so the truth will be told in Aug 1st whether it is going to fly or not...anyhow back to my story. I was promoting http://www.grabthepopcorn.com and I was having a very difficult time getting anybody to sign up. I wanted to get 2 or 3 people a day since I joined so late but I was lucky to get one a day and that was better than a lot of people were doing. I just could not understand it because it is such a great opportunity and it is free to join! I tried everything and then finally I read an article on YouTube on the warrior forum and how this guy made a funny video not evena product video and just put his link at the end of the video and in his profile. Well anyways this guy got like 1000 sign ups to what he was promoting. So I finally gave it a try. I am not clever enough to come up with something funny that is going to go viral just like his did. I wish I was. But I made a nice movie about hollywood stars and picture of when they were young. It was not professional by any means. I created my profile and put my movie up and late late at night after slaving away at this whole thing I went to bed ready to get up in the morning to see my 1000's and 1000's of viewers to my video. What did I see? 7! and I think 5 of those were me! I was sooooo disappointed and ready to give up but I didn't instead I spent the whole day on youtube going through movies and making comments and asking people to be my friend, kind of like you do on myspace. Well...the next day it was a little better. I had 39 movie views. I thought to myself this is never going to work! YouTube is for people that are really good at making movies and then they probably capitolize on that later, not the other way around. The thing is I was looking at the most viewed sites and what I was seeing was videos that were really dumb. How were they there? While looking through some videos I found this little comment that said, your video is really great for tips on how to get more visits watch my movie. Yeah! That's exactly what I need. I went and I watched the movie. I told me how with some software I could do a search on my niche and extract a list of 1000 people with the same interest and then automatically invite them to be my friend. I thought neat. That will save a lot of time but I already had so much failure with YouTube that I wasn't sure. Well the software had a free demo so I just said after doing all this work already what the hey... So I went to http://thetubeinator.com and downloaded the demo. It was very easy to use and I was up and running within 5 minutes. Well long story short. I purchased the software. Two weeks later I am getting over 100 views everyday. 100 views and about 2 or 3 sign ups for http://www.grabthepopcorn.com . I love YouTubing. I bought a book that explains how to make movies and what kind of stuff you can market on YouTube...it was called TubeTraffic. Well worth the fifty cents I paid on e-bay.
