What do you think about them? Some call them evil, why? I am scared to death of them and wont do it. I just wonder, has anyone had an experience with them? Do you finf them evil? Why or why not? Has an experience you had leave you weary ofthem? I had one experience and I say never again. What do you think?

I have never messed with the ouija boards. I don't really know a reason for it other than I've heard people say bad stuff about them.

"yea it seems scary, but I am still wondering why or if people regard them as evil"
I think it's mostly Christians that believe that they're evil & I assume it's based on the scripture that talks about fortune telling. Just don't ask me to quote what scripture that is!

I personally have never had any experience with them, but I have friends that have and the stories that they have told me, scared me out of my wits...And going by these stories I find them to be quite evil...I think that they must only release evil spirits because I have never heard of any good stories about them.

The Ouija board is a very powerful tool that should only be used by someone with the right training. People that use it without regard to what they are using open themselves up to danger. You have to ask for the right guidance when using the board, If you ask for Gods help and guidance then that is what you will get but if you just use the board and hope for a kind spirit then you open yourself up to anything guiding you. They are not something to fear but something to respect and use right with the right people.

I have never been to a seance or tried an ouija board so I can't really say if it's a hoax or it's true or not but I certainly wouldn't want to try, I wouldn't feel comfortable to be honest and for me I'd rather leave it alone and not to meddle with things I don't know.

In my opinion, ouija boards are evil and should not be messed with. I was told stories about them that made me not want to even look at one. And whether it was true or not, I don't care, I still will not touch one.

I have used a Ouija board on several occassions...people always fear things that they do not understand....
I am not afraid of them...in fact, I am considering purchasing another board now....
I say to each his own.....

Myself and a bunch of friends used one when we were younger but it was really tough to tell whether something was really happening or one of the others was manipulating the whole thing...the latter would be my guess. I think they can be pretty powerful if used properly.

The only negative experience I have had with them was in High School, my friend Jenn would move the pointer to say what she wanted it to say! Then she'd refuse to admit it when we all caught her. We have one now, but I can't find anyone to do it with me & it just doesn't seem to conduct well with only one person at the pointer. I don't believe the theory put forth in the movie "Witch Board" that using it alone is dangerous.

I used a Ouija board once when I was in middle school and my friend and I messed around with it to make everyone think it was a ghost talking. We told them, but they didn't think it was very funny and got really mad!! In high school, I was doing it with some of my friends and one of them was messing with it, but wouldn't admit it. I don't really believe in ghosts, and I've never had a real experience with anything like that, but I still get a little scared when I do stuff like that.

I had an experience with one many years ago and I have never been so scared in all of my life. I even have a fear of repeating the experience to other people because I don’t want to have the feeling I felt at that time ever again. My fear was compounded by the fact that one month following my experience I walked in on a conversation where another lady was telling about her experience and it was identical… as if she had been in the very room with me. Just hearing her story made me have the same feelings all over again and there was not even a board in the room at that time. I broke down in tears and couldn’t even speak. I haven’t spoken about it again except to one other person who was a preacher of mine and he helped me moved passed it all. I won’t go near one ever again.
Someday I know that I need to educate myself on the whole practice and I am sure I will read a book about it or something. That is the only way I know to give the fear that I have surrounding it, its proper place in my mind.
