I do it is the best thing ever. Our grandson is two and I have watched him every Friday since he was born and enjoy it so much. He is starting to talk and love it when he says grandma. Don't know what you are missing if you don't have any grandkids. I don't care if I don't have any more since at least I do have one. Would be great to have some more but don't know if that will happen. Time will tell. Time is something you really need to cherish that is for sure. Kids grow up so fast and then they are gone but grandkids are the best cause you can spoil them and send them home to parents. So tell me about your grandkids and how many you have. Love to hear about them too. They are the best.

I love being a grandma..I have 2 grandsons..they are 5 and 3 years old..They are so funny..I see them all the time..They love to stay at my house..we do alot of fun things together, they never want to go home...Being a grandma is the greastest feeling in the world..There is nothing quite like it..They keep me going and I wouldn't trade it for anything..They do grow up fast..so I make sure we are together as much as possible..they are spoiled alright..I just love them so much..

I am a grandmother of (5)!! When my 1st one was 2, she was my world, but now I have 3 girls and 2 boys. They are all my world now. Children are precious, but grandchildren are much better. I guess because you can spend a lot of time with them and aren't trying to do the eveyday things that we had to do as mothers. I still do those things, but when my grandchildren are here, they take first place! I do love being a grandmother! Nanikj

I thought I'd learned a lot from our children, but now we have grandchildren I'm on a whole new learning curve!
The relationship I have with them (boy age 5 and girl age 3) is on a completely different level from the relationship I have with their father (No 2 son). A new mature kind of love. No, I don't smother them, I'd hate to be that kind of a grandma!
I like the freedom we can offer them as grandparents. Parenting can be restrictive in a lot of ways.
We were lucky to have 4 children, our 2 grandchildren are the icing on the cake :)
