Oprah For President?

I am looking at stories online about how the US Dollar is declining and we are no longer seen as a benign superpower. It struck me that we need to elect a president with business sense and extreme likability in the coming election, and then it hit me that it should be OPRAH! She is so amazingly successful and seems to be (at least mostly) universally loved and respected. I realize that it really wouldn't happen, but gosh, can you imagine if it did? Things could get a whole lot better and fast.
What do you guys think of this? And, if not Oprah, then who would your dream candidate be? Something's got to happen to turn our country back around, and I am very hopeful that our future will get brighter soon.

I would sooner vote for Oprah then I would for Hilary CLinton. I think Oprah has such a vision of people and she understands what it is to struggle as well as how it is to deal with much wealth!

Of the available candidates, Hillary probably is either second or third for me. I still wonder if Gore will put his name in. I read an article about how a Gore-Obama ticket might be a possibility. I think that would be cool.
I think Oprah is so amazing, though, and I know how much our country needs help. I'm really getting a little scared about the American economy.

I think she is very smart and she has been through everything. She is not afraid of confrontation and she is loved by most people in the usa. She is the one ..if anyone women should run. . that I would cast my vote for!

Just like you and millions of people around the world, i admire Oprah a lot. However, i think she would do a lot if she is not with politics at all. Her voice will be wide heard, if not smeared with any political color and the respect of people will always be with her for as long as she stays out of politics. She was her own place in the sun
