Piercings

People get them for different reasons. Its fine to think they're "dirty looking" but don't judge someone for having them.

I have no problems with piercings and I don't think they look dirty. Nonetheless I don't want to have more *holes* then the one I already have in my ear. People have to know for themself if they like it, want them,...

It depends on whats pierced and who its on really....I mean I'm all for all forms of body art/modification..thats not to say of course that I'd be willing to do all forms to myself though....On some guys, (and gals) yes I do find some piercings very sexy actually...Why do I like them..for me getting the piercing itself was the rush for me...the pain factor especially when getting a certain neather area piercing done was a rush and I'm actually planning on getting it done two more times:-)... I wish I was actually b@llsy enough to get my back pierced and chained and wings etc (like in the pic) cause I just LOVE that... much like tats though, its definately not for everyone by any means..its definately an "aquired" taste of sorts ya know..

i happen to love them i have my ears and several other places pierced and i wouldnt take them out for anything.. just getting a tug on one of them sends like a bolt of electric thru my whole body they are great and alot of fun to play with.. i love a guy with pierced nipples because i know what playing with it does to me so i know what it does to him... i also have quite a few tattoos even tho i am the soccer mom and none of the other moms know about them ..lol i truly enjoy them

Piercings are sexy sometimes. It all depends on where its at and if you have the right body for it. Sometimes to me people over do the piercing things. Nipple piercings IMO are very unnecessary and looks disgusting. Nose piercings looks all but to weird. Tounge piercings look like they get in the way. SO I guess piercings do look kinda tacky. It really looks tack to me when a person has more that 3 visible piercings.

I have my belly done I got it when I was 18 years old and I loved it. I'm not one to show my body so I can't say lots of people saw it unless I was swimming. I took it out when I was about 6 months pregant and I haven't put it back in and my son is just about a year old now. I think I want to put it back in but I'm not sure. Now I don't like to see people with piercings in the face on people. I understand people like to express themeselves so I guess do whatever makes you happy but it's not something I would do or would want my child to do.

I have my ears and nose pierced although I don't always wear a nose stud. I like facial piercings - personally I think they look cool but I wouldn't get anymore done because I think I'm getting a little "mature" for eyebrow piercings etc now lol! I think belly button piercings look good although I don't have the belly for it so it would be wasted on me. Any other body piercings just give me the horrors. Even the idea of nipple piercings or any of the "down below" ones makes me cringe. It's not a good look! Oh and tongue piercings - ghastly! I can't talk to someone that has their tongue pierced - it makes me feel ill.

I like all sorts of piercings and tattoos, i think they are interesting and add character to the form. I have had several piercings in my life--tongue, nipples, septum, ears (lobes and upper ear). Now the only one i have is my septum ring which I flip upside down at work (i am a therapist) I have one tattoo on my upper back that I designed myself of a flower with an electrical plug for a stem and a USB symbol growing out of its center. I would like to get more work done but won't go in until i am sure exactly of what i want. I also want to get my belly button done because I finally have a nice enough belly to show it off! That will probably be the next thing I do...

I don't think it's that they look dirty, I just don't like the idea of having to put a hole in one's body for the sake of fashion. I am 25 years old and I do not have my ears pierced. I don't plan to get them pierced eithe.

I think a nose and eyebrow piercing is very attractive if on the right face!!LOL As for belly button and tongue piercing, it has become so popular over here, it has lost its appeal and usually gives the statement 'fashion victim' rather than what it used to represent. The thing I find with tongue piercing is it usually changes peoples voices and they tend to sound funny. A girl I knew had it done and one day it became really swollen, I would fear blood poisoning, so for me all I have is my ears pierced.

I don't think there's anything hotter than a woman with a pierced belly button. I find just the slightest glimpse of that to be very sexy. I myself have 4 piercing but all in the ears. I often toyed with the idea of getting my nose or eyebrow done but just never got around to it. As you can probably tell by my tattooed appearance I really like ink and piercings

It is a form of self expression.I don't think it is dirty or lower classed . It is just a choice. Like everyone else,there are good and bad people that have piercings.

where my family come from percings are done at birth. i want a ladyfriend who has a hole. i have never had a girl partner but i want one. mylot make me confident. i will have a meeting of love before i am 25.

I basically agree with you, piercing should be only for the ear and only on females. Everyone has gotten caught up in the fad, and most people do it because they think it looks cute, but in most cases it looks disgusting. We have to keep in mind that the body is the temple of the Lord and it is being defiled when holes are placed where they should not be. The same applies to tattoo. There is nothing sexy about them.

I don't find that they look 'dirty' per se. I do think that many get them just to 'look cool.' If someone wants a piercing in their body, that is their business and it doesn't bother me. I have one piercing in each ear and that is enough for me. To me, whether a piercing looks dirty is more of the wearer's entire appearance more so than the piercings.

Tattoos and piercings are a personal preference thing. They are not for everyone but that does not mean that if someone has one that the non tattoos or pierced people should condemn those that have them. I have a tattoo that I got while in the army because I thought that the woman that was doing thee tattooing would go out with me but I found out that she did not go out with her clients. Lately I have been toying with the idea of piercing my ears so that I can wear some of the ear rings that I put together (I am native American and completely straight)
