I was just noticing it is taking longer than it used too to get paid from this site lately when I submit articles. I submitted something 10 days ago and it has not been looked at yet. Is this normal now, or are they really busy to where it is taking them longer to pay people? Has anyone here submitted anything there this month, and gotten paid for it? Just was wondering if I fit in the norm with everyone else?

I think it just depends on when they get to it, how fast the queue is moving and maybe who accepts the article. I suspect they're turned in in batches, I don't know. Anyway, I had one accepted today and got paid for it in about an hour. I have waited for a few days for payment though. If you have to wait too long, contact them.

Well, they could just not have gotten to it yet, or it could be because the last one I submitted last month was not accepted? I can wait a little longer and see if they will pay.

I haven't submitted anything in several weeks but I always noticed that the waiting time varied. I've had articles that took a week or two to get published. I've also had stuff that was published and paid for so quickly that when I went back a day or two later to add a picture, it was too late. I think it just depends on how busy they are and whether or not they are short handed.

Well, it seemed like a couple of mine got paid on right away, and then others take a while, so it could be what type of Article it might be etc? We shall see.

I've submitted stuff and got paid for it. It's not big bucks or anything like that. Its just sometimes it takes time. For me, I just try to figure out what to write about and hope that it's payment worthy. That's all I can do actually. I think it could be due to being really busy because I don't know how many articles they get submitted in a day. That's probably what I think it is.

Well. you never know do you. But I have found if my Articles are declined for payment I usually will delete them, and change them up a little bit and go from there.

I just got paid for an article and they offered and paid with a week. That is the fastest that they have done for me. Came at a good time too. I think that they have folk for each group of writers or something. Back a bit in time they were training new people. Anyway, contact them and maybe they can tell you what is going on. Good luck and happy writing!

They should have a standard procedure for making payments and any delay in doing so seems to me to be unprofressional

Hello KrauseHome,no that's not normal it has never taken 10 days for me, the longest it has ever taken is about 3 or 4 days, now if it's a friday you won't hear from AC until Monday. And yes i have summitted some articles this month and have gotten paid already within the 3 to 4 days after i summit them. Maybe you better send them an email and ask what is taking so long. 10 days does not seem normal.

Well, I have articles that were submitted on 6/26 and at the time of this post haven't been offered on. I see that I"m not in the same boat. I sent a letter to the admin but I did it Friday after 5. Hopefully the stuff will be reviewed or someone answer on it.

The normal turnaround time for anything I've submitted seems to be 5 - 10 days with 10 days being the longest I've had to wait for an offer. I've submitted 2 articles and been paid for both in the last 2 weeks. I dion't imagine you'll have to wait too much longer

It has taken them on an average 15 days to review my articles. So maybe they are very busy. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

Unfortunately, I haven't written anything for AC this month, so I can't confirm or deny your experience. I have noticed, however, that they updated the page views recently, after a long period of not updating them. Then, today, I had a message asking me to do a survey related to AC. So I'm wondering if they have chosen to focus on these as priorities, and it is slowing down the article reviewing? I also have heard people complaining from time to time that the CMs (content managers) didn't seem to actually be READING the articles that they submitted. Perhaps they are finally doing this? That would be nice. :)
