...a dangerous thing. It can lead to jealousy, hatred and betrayal. On the other hand it can also be a good thing. To have pride in your work or your craft is to have dedication and motivation to be the best you can.
My girlfriend and I recently had an argument over this. I am a very proud person. I take pride in everything I do, my work, the sports I play, everything. I think taking pride in what you do makes the outcome better.
My girlfriend, on the other hand, decided that all pride is bad and it makes you a bad a person. I believe that too much pride, can indeed take a person over. However, having pride, as long as it isn't too much, is beneficial. WHat do you think? Is pride a bad thing, a good thing, or does it depend on how much pride you have?

You have your point there. Too much or too little is Bad. You have to comtrol your pride. Sometimes pride can destroy a man's reputation over his collegue or towards his friends. Take time to think if what your saying could affect your relationship with others.

Sure, pride can destroy a reputation but it can also make a reputation. At work I have the reputation as having so much pride in m work that I will stay and do it until it is right. My pride has given me the reputation as a hard worker and actually has lead to a raise and a soon to be promotion.
