What do you expect to get out of your time here on mylot

I want to share my thoughts with others and accept what others have to say..The internet is a very powerful tool and if it can unite people that is wonderful..I enjoy discussing things with others..I don't like to beat around the bush but I do not want to come across rude..Some probably think I need counseling by some of my posts..and I mean that in a good way.. Maybe I will make a friend or two..That would be nice...

I haven't been here long, but I enjoy the fact that when I post a dicussion to ask for someones opinion that is exactly what I get. I love that fact that you get so many view point. The thing I like the most is you get opinions from all over the world. I hope to make many friends, for I enjoy being her. Happy postings.

What I look to get out of mylot is a few bits of money here and there to just chatter and talk. I also value the friendships I have made on here and the interesting conversations/questions that I run across. I aboustely love that I can talk online like I like to and earn something from it besides just talk. lol

I expect to do what I love, to write and get paid for it. I need the money, but I would rather get the money doing what I love, then doing what I feel is a waste of brain power. I expect to help others and give suggestions that would make things a little easier, and to discuss weighty and controversial issues with people who are not yes men or parrots. I like hearing how things go, and telling people how things are going with me. I like learning about how others lives are in countries that are not as free as ours to better understand their situation and about those who are suffering in our own country so I know that not everyone is as rich as Crocus. I expect to learn solutions to some of my problems and learn to solve some of theirs It is a give and take process, and I am not an altruistic type of person nor am I a "write what others expect you to write." type either.

What else can you ask for, friendship, a few pennies and a good laugh for the day and a few problems solved along the way, I hope it continues for some time to come because the thought of no mylot ever again is quite scarry, so we had better enjoy all we can while it is here. I always wonder when I log on each day if mylot is still there and what has been happening on the days I am away from it. So cool, it is here today. All the best my friend.

I enjoy the friends that I have here on Mylot, although I must say that I don’t “expect” anything from them. My time here is limited but when I do have the chance to post and respond to discussions I enjoy how my friends show so much support and considerate thoughts in their responses. I have few (0) responses discussion but I don’t expect my friends to respond to any of then if it is not in their interest, as I do not respond to all of their discussions. I am grateful for most of my friends who have taken the time to respond to my discussion; needless to say I am often amazed by the extra step they take to help me in ways that I never could have “expected”. I love being here and if it not for the friends that I have corresponded with through discussions, I don’t think that I would feel the way I do, at this point I would say that they have managed to make Mylot feel like my second home.
