Yes I had two small payments come from two click sites on line. One was a dollar and Paypal took 36 cents and the other was 1.40 I think and Paypal took 34 cents. Does paypal keep money when you get paid from all of these sites or just some? If you got paid 5.00 would Paypal still keep some money for themselves or would they not? Or maybe it has to be 10.00 like myLot! I notice they don't take money from you when you get paid 10.00 from myLot!

Personal accounts are usually not charged fees on money put into the account. I don't know if the rules are different in Canada, but if you are in the US, the only time paypal would take out fees such as what you describe would be if you had a business or premier account. In those types of accounts, you are charged 30 cents per transaction, plus about 3% of the transaction amount. Have you recently upgraded your paypal account by any chance?

I don't use a lot of sites other mylotters seem to do. I know when I get paid by MyLot and they transfer it to PayPal, money is deducted if I ask to be paid by check sent through the mail. I prefer to get a check, and since I set my payout at 25 dollars, it doesn't hurt too much that PayPal takes out $1.50 to send it to me.

I have a Paypal premium account since the beginning. The first two times my Paypal account was credited there was no money taken. Last time I asked a site to send a little money to my Paypal account ($1.10). When Paypal notified me I had been paid I consulted my account and I had been credited only 76 cents. I learned then that Paypal charges you 30 cents flat and a percentage that changes with the amount you are paid. When the amount is very little the percentage is 3.4% I don't know when did this practice begin.

It depends on what kind of account you have. If you account accepts credit card payments, then pay pal takes a percentage of all of your monetary intake.
