Well, I must tell you, every child is different so it is hard to tell you what is 'normal' or what is not.
It is quite normal though if your child sleeps 15 hours a day.
Young children require a lot of sleep.
My youngest son sleeps about 10-12 hours a night, then he takes an hour nap around 10am, then another hour nap around 2pm, then again, another nap around 6pm.
He sometimes swiches it up a bit and naps earlier, or sometimes later then usual.
Children are unpredictable, and you just have to go along with it.
When they are sleepy, you can tell, if you have the mother's instinct of course, which I hope every mother has.
You cannot determine what time your baby will wake up.
But, I can help you to control it if you are interested.
You can help control when your baby wakes up, if you know how.
What you do is, take your child to bed later at night.
It sometimes will be difficult, because they will get cranky.
But just play with your child and keep them preoccupied and don't put them to bed when you usually do, wait longer.
Or you can skip a nap. This way, they will require more sleep during the night.
I hope this has helped.
