ever happened to you???

The part about sending a message to the wrong person made me think of this story... My ex-hubby and s/o had the same generic answering machine messages. I had put both of their phone numbers on speed dial on my phone. One night my s/o and I were going out and planning to meet at the restaurant. I was running a little late so I called him but he wasn't home so I just left a message saying "Hi honey, I'm running late. Hope we're still on for tonight, will meet you there. I love you." Well it turns out I'd hit the wrong number on my speed dial and left that message on my ex-hubby's answering machine instead! Unfortunately for him he happened to have already told his girlfriend at the time that he was going out with some buddies for some "guy time". She got the message from me and thought that I had really intended it to be for my ex-hubby and when he got home that night she accused him of lying to her and cheating and she broke up with him over it! Luckily for me she had erased the message I accidentally left and didn't tell him why she suspected him of cheating. I only found out what had happened after the fact but have never told him the whole story.

Hi singlepixel! Yeah, a few time ago I sent a message to a friend and the number was wrong, and the the person called me thinking I wanted to be his friend! That was so embarassing, and strange, it was hard to explain it was just a mistake, but now I can laugh about it, lol.

I have locked my keys in the car MANY times, and just two days ago left my curling on all day while I was gone from home, that was scary. Some days I require extra grace.:-)
