I'm not much of a TV watcher but I can say there are channels that do live up by what they broadcast and represent. Cartoon Network -- Nothing but cartoons from kids and for adults. BET Network -- From shows, movies and music for African American audience. Comedy Central - comedy stands, movies and shows that are relevantly humorous. MTV? Are they kidding? Do their shows actually represent and broadcast music? Not really! What does MTV Punk'd have to do with music? How about the show "Next" or "Real World"? Then there's shows like "Pimp My Ride" and "Rob & Big" -- How about "Yo Momma" or "Viva La Bam" - All these shows have nothing to do with music. I was thinking they should change their name and eliminating the word "music". They should name it "Misleading TV" or "Not So Real TV". How about you? Are you annoyed by MTV yourself?

I think there's a MTV only for music. Here, I have 2, one with most of the shows you mentioned, while the other shows only music. I don't think that because it is called MTV, then it must be 100% music. As long as the main theme is music, then it's not missleading to me. However, I agree with you that these shows are over taking the music in the channel which is sometimes annoying.
