Have you ever broken up with someone and realized you made a mistake too late?

I recently broke up with my girlfriend her name was Agatha Gucyskishe was really nice but i kept getting pressured by my friends to break up with her and i finally did and for a few days she was all sad and I was sad but then she called me and said that she didn't break up with me because she wanted too but she broke up with me because my friends spread a stupid rumor that I was going to break up with her and she didn't want to get rejected but she called me one day and told me thayt she still loved me. Now when i heard this I was ok cool so we can just get back together but I was about to answer and my friends voices all started rushing to my head like all the negative things they said about her. The words that came ou of my mouth then were completely untrue and I said to her that I didn't love her anymore and when i hung up the phone. I started beating myself up over the stupid answer i gave. If anyone has anyway I can fix this problem please get back to me A.S.A.P I need to fix this before it's too late.
