Has anyone ever made money using epinions.com? I understand it is a paying site but what sorts of things does one have to do in order to start earning? Is a certain number of reviews, hits, or feedback required?
Thanks in advance.

Epinions is a paying site. Income earned is based on number of hits received; income share is figured out once a month and you can cash out when your balance reaches $10. They are very reliable in paying also; I have always received my check in a timely manner - usually within two weeks. The more reviews you write, the more income share you are eligible to earn. Advisors also get an "advisor bonus" every month. Epinions is a blast - I highly recommend it. :-)

Thanks. I actually just discovered that a while ago... I had 10 cents in my account for one of my reviews, which sort of answered my own question. Thanks a lot for your input. Any genuine paying program is great to know.

I thought that epinions used to be paying but switched to non-paying a couple years ago. I know article-driven sites like Triond and Helium pay, and their structure works similarly.
Associated Content is another article/content-driven site, but they pay $3-$20 upfront for some articles. If you want to sign up for them, my referral link is http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=91514
Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the info. I am currently signed with Associated Content and Triond but not Helium. Epinions still has pages geared toward earning in the member areas, but I wasn't earning anything, so I wondered about that. I'd heard it was a pay site, which was news to me so I decided to look further into it.
Well, thanks for your input! I really appreciate it.

I like Epinions alot too- they even have a write off contest each month if you are the first one to publish a review on whatever you choose. It does take awhile to add up but once you start rolling you can make a couple of bucks fast provided you can write and people like your stuff..
