Friday the 13th blues!

Well everyone how did your Friday the 13th go? I can honestly say that today was a better day than yesterday but it was pretty bad. It all started very early as well. It was about 12:30 am and I suddenly heard some water falling into a pail that sounded fairly full. I got up to check things out and sure enough the pail that I had placed on the floor to catch a sudden appearing leak was full of water so I went and got another pail to replace it. So once that was done I went back to my couch which I have been using as a bed since my hubby has been gone to work. I just about got to sleep and all of a sudden I hear this crash, bang and who knows what else. LOL. Anyway, I got up to inspect and what I found was my ceiling in the other part of the living room had fallen! Well part of it anyway! I just stood there with the light on and my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it. It was 1 am now and my living room ceiling was coming down around me. Well I thought I am not going to do much with it now so I went back to my couch. Then I get a wake up call(That I didn't want!) from my mother-in-law, asking if she woke me up. GRRR. After that I went to go and pick up a friend and my car wouldn't start. The battery was dead so I boosted it and away I went. I got to her place and shut the car off and when I went to leave the car wouldn't start again. So we through the battery charger on it for awhile and eventually I was able to start the car and went home to grab something and head back to her place. When I got there I was going to stay for awhile and didn't want to keep the car running so I shut it off again. When I was finally able to go I tried to start the car and for the third time I hear a click, click, click. I am really beginning to hate those clicks! LOL Anyway, her hubby was around so he took a peak and tested the battery and concluded that the cables needed cleaning so he cleaned them up for me and I haven't had any more problems with it today. Thankfully! I decided after that I was coming home and not looking at anyone or anything! LOL. So how did your day go? Did you have an exceptionally good day or a why did I get up kinda day? :)

To be honest, I didn't know about this date till the day is about over. :P
Many people view this as an unlucky day but for me, I have always favored the number 13 - so I would think this is a lucky day for me, as is every other Friday the 13th. :)

Ya I don't usually think of it til it is dome as well. I was just joking around with a friend about it but when I look back at everything that happened to me that day---I don't know! Maybe there is something to it. LOL I never considered it unlucky for me either and it is also one of my favorite numbers. I know that all those things would have happened anyway regardless of the date. :)

Well creative_freak I am glad someone had a great day! LOL. Good sales are always a good thing, better than usual? Business running smooth is also good! Well one good thing will happen today my hubby will be home before midnight. LOL Thanks for the comment. :)

I was off work with flu all week and did not realise it was Friday 13th until late. The only thing that went wrong was not being able to get MyLot to work just as I had some time to spend on it - typical. I am so glad I can now though. I thought I was banned!!!
Sorry to hear about your ceiling. I hope your new video camera was out of the way. I hope it does not take too long to get sorted.
