Yesterday when I logged in in the internet, this notification comes, I think from security of my desktop and It say you have to update your anti-spyware or antivirus so when I click one from the options, then an icon appear on the taskbar(notification area - lower right part of the screen) and an Internet explorer window appears and says free to scan and I click the 'free scan', and after that it said that there are many spywares, and etc, high risk, many viruses, and so on, until now, and also it said that your internet connection will speed down and also your passwords and ip address will experienced something really bad as well as your executable files, so there after all the warnings, it said that "you have to download or buy this anti-virus or anti-spyware for your computer safety and security", but it is very expensive!!, and I don't know if I am to buy it, and I cannot update my antivirus cause it lapsed one year, as well as my antispyware, and
my biggest problem is this the blinking icon on the notification area always show this "a very high virus or spyware is on your pc and can do something really bad on it you have to delete it so you have to have an anti-spyware
oh gosh, I am really scared, and I cannot buy it, And I really notice the change in the internet speed..oh gosh!!have you experienced it too, please help me, it is still here and keep sending i mean showing notifications of internet worms or spywares, gosh!!

Hi, I am so grateful that I was able to tell what particular problem you are experiencing right now. I am not so knowledgeable about these things, but I am doing my best for you to get rid out of it.
Sadly to say, you have downloaded a very high risk spyware. VirusProtectPro uses stealth installation, randomly named entries and has the capability to self update or restore after incomplete removal. It is very hard to remove manually. Removing by free software or Re-Name the Dll file of VirusProtectPro cannot decrease the Privacy Risk, because it uses stealth installation method.
At this moment, dont try to purchase the first link that I have given to you. For now, I have done research about that and I found these two forums. I found it very informative which is really related to your problem that you are facing right now.
Check these two:
1. www.spyware-removal-guideline.com/virusprotectpro-removal
2. www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic98219.html
When you are trying to do this process, I am encouraging you to ask some help to other people around you (family members, friends, etc.) whom you think can really help you most. Two brains are better than one. Your last chance will be for you to refer a computer expert or technician instead, if still you are unable to delete it.
I am wishing you all the lucks, and luckily, you will get rid with this sooner. I believe you can do it.
Best regards,

I think no one will help me about these, only you and I and a technician(if i can afford), and also the virusprotectpro is not only my problem, have a check on my profile I have uploaded the scan results and I will upload the third one, oh gosh, my internet speed has gone a bit slow yesterday and now, much low speed than yesterday, thanks, by the way I am afraid about the solution given on the links but maybe I should try it, it makes me afraid cause I have to turn my pc on safe mode and it will delete all the files infected I think, oh gosh, I will try it, but still there are many spywares on my pc, :(

I had the same problem a few months back and I tried a lot of things. Nothing worked. At last I told one of my techie friends and he reformatted my hard disk to get rid of the mischevous programme. You better consult some technical people immiediately.
Thank you.

Abroji,
Is reformatting the same as doing a recovery? How is it done? I did a recovery of my computer a few days ago when I couldn't find a fix that would get it back up to speed. It had slowed down considerably but running my spyware and virus software didn't turn up anything.

Reformatting is not recovery. It will format the hard disc. That every data stored in the harddisc will be erased. Before reformatting all important files and programmes should be backed up. so that it can be installed or use as the case maybe, after such reformation. It is the last resort, before that all possible things should be tried.

What do you mean same problem with the 'notification' thing, you know abroji I am totally irritated with that blinking thing beside the time in the notification area - the blinking "x-mark with red background" & "the question mark with blue background"

Don't panic! These programmes often pop up and what you should really do is delete them, immediately.
Check your windows security is set up, firewall included, then download a free Anti-Virus programme... AVG is good. Then, Windows have Spyware programmes which are free. You don't have to shell out oodles of money for security, when it's offered free, and any that pop up on the screen willy-nilly should certainly be ignored, and deleted. Sometimes they autoload into your windows, but once they've done that, just delete them from the window.
Brightest Blessings.

OMG! The same thing happened to me. Looks like somebody has been busy.
I spent 2 hours last night trying to get whatever got put on my computer off. I'm still a little afraid to sign into anything that I have to put a password in. I even went as far as changing my ISP password. Thank God that I don't save any passwords on my computer and I clean everything out before I log off.
I was able to get my spyware software running. It took over an hour to go through everything. I disconnected from the internet while I did this. When I could I updated my virus and spyware software and I also downloaded a software called HiJackthis from Trendmicro.com (www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/hijackthis.php), or find it at Trendmicro.com and look for "Hijackthis" in the free tools at the bottom right of the page.
I also did a scan with a software called HouseCall also from Trendmico.com
I ran my spyware software again not too long ago and it only 1 spyware threat and 3 virus threats.
So far so good...
