Clerks Rocks

i havent seen clerks but clerks II is a very good film. i would recomend it to ne1. although jay and silent bob strikes back is so much better. u have to see tht.

Personally, there is no choice. While I thought the Clerks II was good for what it was, there is no comparing the effect that Clerks had, from the botched encounter between Dante and his former girlfriend, to the hockey game on the roof of the Quik Stop, to the guy with the lung at the beginning. It was so poignant and an accurate depiction of the life that some find themselves in. With Clerks II, I thought that the movies was more about gags than the story and the character development. But each was good in their own ways.

If I had to choose, I would say that I like Clerks more than Clerks II. But it's hard for me to compare them to each other in that way, because they are two different styles of movie. Clerks was low budget, poorly acted (but in a good way), and very indy film in nature. Clerks II is much more of a Hollywood production.
