Do you watch game shows? Do you find them entertaining?

I have seen a lot of game shows in television, and I find them very much entertaining. It does seem that a game show is where people get the opportunity to play a game and then the winner gets paid with a million bucks. Wow. Sometimes, I find the process of the game really amusing and hilarious. In the game show, the audience are always shouting and clapping to urge the players to win the games. For a million bucks, I am convinced to join a game show if ever there will be an opportunity! What about you?

I think "Identity" is the only game show I have seen where someone has made it all the way to the top amount - that and Millionaire. I have yet to witness a winner on Millionaire with Meredith Viera though I know they have had at least one because they showed it in a commercial promotion. I saw the ones when Regis did it.

in the Deal or No Deal game show here in the Philippines, some actually managed to win the millions. my mom and dad actually jumped up and down and cheered for the contestant who made it. :)

For producers of games shows it is all about entertainment. That is why so many hosts of games shows are comedians. They make the show entertaining and if you notice, most of the game players have personalities that bring the show to life as well. The game and the money are only half of it. You said it yourself when you said you find it amusing and hilarious. It's all about entertainment... and the ratings.

yes, i really like comedians. and i like gameshows that give chances to people who are less fortunate. i think gameshows should pick contestants from the people who are not that fortunate. at least they could help them, right? :)

I did submit an application to Deal or No Deal when it came to Canada. I tried to use my illness, Fibromyalgia, as a forum and the fact that I have been unable to work for 11 years because of it. I think the problem was that when it asked what risked I had taken in my life I had nothing to say. What outrageous thing had I done, the best I could come up with was tubing on the back of a Sea-doo. I am a needy person and would love to be given the chance on a game show.

I watched Deal or No Deal, it's really nice and entertaining.. Wow, did you really? Well, I don't see the point of feeling bad about it. I bet a lot of people made up stories so they'd be able to join in the game shows. As for you, don't give up. You can still try joining other game shows. :)
