we all know that voldemort studied under dumbledore who is considered to be the greatest wizard alive, yet he turned to the dark side. if you were a witch or wizard, which side would you choose? would you be more tempted to test the powerful yet evil powers of the dark side or would you choose to use your abilities for good? i, myself am mystified by the powers of the dark side at times but when i think about the danger of losing one's self to the dark powers it gives me the creeps...would you be tempted to take voldemort's course if it meant having tremendous power in exchange for your losing your soul in the end? would it be worth it?

i would like to say that i would fight for the light. lol but knowing myself..i would end up on the darkside. Why? because it would be oh so much more fun of course!

i agree with you! lol besides i think that going to the dark side is not a decision that one makes in an instant. it's a gradual process, a transformation even. i think it's really the power that lures one to the dark side. and although i feel honor-bound to stay with the good side, knowing the rebel that i am, i fear i might be tempted to cross over to the dark side...as you said, it would be oh so much more fun!!!lol

I would undoubtedly be a good witch. I would stand up for house elves and be a member of the Order of the Phoenix. I believe that, even at personal risk to self and loved ones, one must stand up for justice, just like Martin Luther King did even if he lost his life in the process. He inspired generations and his dream lives on, even if he didn't live to see the fruits of his labor.
