Do you find Chang amusing? A chinese dentist singing hindi songs on Indian Idol.

I am very amused at seeing Chang, who is a Chinese dentist - speaks flawless hindi and sings Hindi songs with perfect diction on Indian Idol. I have heard that he is very popular too.

he's an awsome guy he sings fantastic! i love him and he should be an indian idol.

yes i do like him a lot.especially his cool personality.but he is not my favorite singer.what makes me surprised is the fact that he speaks hindi so fluently.even if he is in india since his his grandparents time,but still i am not able to believe it.he must be speaking his own language as well. and learning english is more easier than learning hindi.if we stay out of our country for 1 year also we will be fluent in english and moreover it has become a trend to speak in english in india also.but learning hindi is far more difficult task.i have seen in tv even indians can't speak hindi like him,mostly bengalis and south indians. so hats off to him.

And he is so polite also, most non Indians who speak Hindi are not very polite because they do not understand the difference between 'tum' and 'aap' and what follows.

yes what you said is absolutely true.its a fact.sometimes we fail in speaking grammatically correct hindi even if we belong to india,study it in our school and moreover its our national language.we must have perfect knowledge of it.but being a chinese he does that so easily and that surprises me.that is why i told learning hindi is a far more difficult task than learning english.here we have the same word for "aap" and "tum".doesn't show much difference if we are giving respect to somebody or not.

ya that's very true, even i shoked seeing chang singing in hindi, thereafter my bro. told me that he is basically from china and is living in india since last 20 to 22 yrs. that's very cool n unique combination i found

Yes, and isn't it more amusing that we are voting to make a chines the voice of India - if he wins it will be history in making.

I guess he has been practicing a lot or has been living too long in India that's why he has perfect diction. =) Here's a joke I've seen online about Learning Chinese in 5 minutes: That's not right...
