Anybody know how to get started in the web design industry for someone who is just starting out? How do you get your first client??How much should you charge?? Where do you look for these clients?
Should you give examples of your work? One person told me you should make fake websites to use as your experience...is that a good idea?? Please tell me your suggestions.

well things may b popping out ver rapidly but let me tellyou the tech is changin fast and so you shld have the capacity to upgrde fast/ there aree lot of tech availabel and they have their own string pmts. th few basics u req are design qlty. u shld have idea abt color and thwen the placement and thn u shld have nice knowledge abt html and css
a little bit if prog like asp or php will help a lot and then u shld have marketing strat and research qlty abt wht thngs to give on wht kind of website
