Did you ever see anyone famous randomly?

In my various roles, voluntary and professional, I have met quite a few 'celebrities'. When I was young I was in the Air Cadet Force and part of our duties was security at local events. Some of these were attended by celebrities who had been invited to open events. My most memorable meetings, which were random, were when I met a comedian, Mike Harding (famous in the UK in the 1980's), whilst I was having a drink in a pub miles from anywhere. Apparently he lived locally and it was his local pub. It was a wonderful night as he was as funny in real life as he was when performing. I met him again probably about 2 years later as I was out walking in the local hills. He was out taking photographs for a new book that was being published, and I have to admit he is a fantastic photographer. In the line of my work I do get the opportunity to meet some local celebrities, as I live in the north west of England there are plenty of them as we are not too far from the TV studios.
