Where do you think the Irish will finish up this year?

Regardless of the loss of Brady Quinn I think the Irish will still win 10 or 11 games this year. The quarterback position is severely overrated as you can see by looking at Bradys stats. He demolished lesser opponents but when he faced off against the Torjans and even the Spartans of the World he was largely ineffective. The loss that will effect them the most is that of Jeff Samardjia. Having a number one receiver opens things up for your number 2 and 3 guys and your tight end. In addition the Safties that look to cover deep allow open lanes for your running back. Look for the FIghting Irish to get a bowl game but no where near the BCS title game.

Are you actually saying that Brady Quinn is overrated. Come on who throw the ball to Jeff Samardjia. Your on a team that wants to throw the ball more time than some NFL teams you better have a pretty good quaterback. Jeff Samardjia was overrated. He was not fast, he was not physical, and he droped to many balls. Jeff did not open up the second, and third receiver. In the big games he was facing single coverage. What were you watching, not the same game I was watching.

As of right now they are 0-3. I just hope they win a couple this season.

Well they have alot to replace namly Brady Quinn. I do not know if Norte Dame's backups can get up to speed quick enough. Charlie Wiess's offense must have an experienced quaterback to run an offense that throws the ball at least 30 times a game. Hope they can run the ball, they will need it.

I'm hoping for a good year for the Irish. It's been too long without a National championship. I was so pumped last year after the Penn State game. I was out there to see it and I loved it. I'm hoping the outcome is the same this year, as far as that game is concerned. But after that big Penn State win, they just fell down at Michigan. They need to get out early and hit them hard. Too many games last year the Irish got behind early. They made some nice comebacks, but shouldn't have been playing catch up in the first place. They have their picks of quarterbacks. Will the freshman take the spot? Anyway, go Irish! You've brought back hope.
