Talking to yourself?

There's this old man in my neighbourhood and he's always talking to himself. People in the neighbourhood labelled him a lunatic. Many times, i stood a distance away from him and listened to his "speech". Through some of his "speeches", it seems like he's communicating with an invisible/imaginary "friend" or should i say, a spirit.
I really wonder if he's suffering from some mental problem or are there really "things" that we cant see (except for him).

I talk to myself all the time to when rembering things to do etc I wouldnt worry about him whos he hurting? You know they say when we are young we are all able to see and communicate with spirts etc but we lose it when we grow up. Maybe when we get older we get it back again who knows? until we reach a certain age we wont know.

It's pretty creepy. My mom once told me that when i was much younger, i was always pointing to the curtains in the living room and crying nonstop. She decided to remove the curtains. Ever since, i stopped all my nonsense. She was suspecting that there's something evil in the house and of course, she claimed she experienced bad omens as well. For all this while, i thought my mom is being over-superstious.

LOl, well I talk to myself all the time, it's when I reach a point of starting arguements with myself, that I will seek help.
I do think this old man of yours may be suffering from some mental problem, or he just might like messing with people :oD

I talk to myself quite often. I keep telling people that I need to have an intelligent conversation once in a while. Anyway, it could be a mental problem or it could be spirits, but as long as he isn't hurting anyone, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
