Definitely episode 23, the baseball episode. It was so hilarious, the humor is timeless; I laugh even when I watch it now, after so many times. The best part is when the umpire is replaced by a strawman with the hiragana face, thanks to Mugen's pitching of course. Even the special ending song, "FLY ~Circle of Friends~" is addictive.
