How can a Doctor become a Terrorist ?

I was shocked at the recent news about the alleged UK-Glasgow bombings,where it was revealed in so many newspapers and TV Channels that a group of about 40 doctors(oh god !)belonging to a particular religion, participated in a discussion about planning Terrorist Attacks on Innocent Citizens.
I can understand innocent people turning themselves into
Terrorists,but how can a Doctor who is supposed to save
our lives,can ever think of even Terrorist action that
could result in mass killing of innocent citizens.
How can these educated,civilized people ever think of these
Terrorist Actions.

It`s terrifying. Sometimes the educated people also have their manias.They deeply believe that their education and inteligence give them the moral right to judge the world and to correct it. What is nonsense, of course.They have given wow of Hypocrates at all!!
This means to help and to save the life, not to destroy...

This is really very appalling! They are supposed to be professionals who we expect would know more about moral things. However, it is a fact that some religions teach things to their believers that we cannot comprehend. That even professionals such as doctors would stoop down to acts that are inconceivable to us. And then there is also the work of the evil forces that pulls us to the wrong direction. The devil attacks even the most learned people of this world and they can be prone to the most heinous acts in this world. Let us just pray for these people.

yes,there are some religions which preach holy-war(?) against non-believers,in what context they are motivating

Yes it makes you wonder doesn't it, how they go into such a profession then go the opposite direction and want to kill, it is hard to understand. On Television the other night they showed a graduation of future terrorists all masked of course all ready to be distributed around the world so maybe this has been the agenda for some years, get them out there undetected and then when the time is right.. this is a very scary time to be alive, sad really because none of us are here for long and none of us take anything with us so why can't we just make the most of our lives and try and be happy.

Thanks for your comments,Terrorism has become a global
phenonmenon,and some countries like Pakisthan have become
the breeding and Training ground for Terrorists.
Even UK has become a popular destination for Terrorists.

yeah i couldnt believe it, such a shock, so many people would of put their lives in the hands of these doctors and they turn around and go to do terrorist attacks.

I am muslim and believe me, I myself can not find clue about doctors thinking killing innocents. I am not convinced Islam allows any one to go for killing spree. I think we have to see if they have taken this way only under influence of Islam or other than that. I think possibility of out come of racial discrimination, they face during studies and at work places.Or it may be mixture of two. However , in any way , this is heinous crime and examplary punishmeny must be given if proved guilty.

Yes you may be right,but nowadays a lot of people see a
connection betweeen Terrorism and Islam, as in country
after country,Terrorists are turning out to be Muslims,the
community leaders will have to do something before it
is too late

It really makes you wonder if anyone is safe anymore. Before I would blame a lack of education and an mis-understanding of a bigger picture to explain the actions of terrorists. Now I just wonder if anyone is safe. Doctors are supposed to take a vow saying they will help their patients, so having terrorist doctors is completly insane! What's next, terrorist pharmacists giving meds with poison in them or doctors injecting their patients with dangerous chemicals. It really scares me to think what this world is coming to...
