For those of you who make money off your blog...

How do you do it? Where do you have your blog posted? Was it free to start? Where do you get your ads from and was it hard to find them? Is blogging just spare change for you or a living? I was thinking of starting a blog for some spare change. I have some friends that are really pretty funny and I have so many stories about the stupid things they do, I thought it would be fun to start a blog about it. Basically, I don't want to pay to put up the blog. And I want to put some ads on it to make a little bit of money if that's possible. As far as making a living off the blog though, I'm certainly not planning on it. But some spare change would be nice. Any pointers you'd be willing to share would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have four blogs right now that I do paid postings on. The thing is is that your blog has to be a least 90 days old with good content and a fair amount of readership. If they meet this criteria then you just submit them to sites such as payperpost, blogitive and blogvertise. If accepted then they will give you opportunities to post on your blogs for cash. Thanks so much for that information! I'm very grateful for all the information that you're willing to share with me. :) I will definitely keep those links handy so that once the blog has been up long enough, I might be able to make some extra money that way. And I'll check them out now as well.

I am not really new in blogging but the one who help me know about it is a friend of mine. She make blogs for me i think she make 2-3 and she just ask me something. But i make 3 blogs myself and its active now. I am not making money yet but most of my friends are making money for living in their blogs. Some make thousands already and i hope i can earn too in my blogs. Totally blogs making is free and you can learn as you explore in it. I think it is best to get your own account with the wordpress software installed.I had an account on blogger.Friends of mine complained that they had to be a blogger member to post a comment.Anyone can comment or subscribe when you have your own blog site. I paid $25 a year for the hosting.You can have it installed and get hosting for $50 to $75 a year at most web hosting sites.

Well yes I have a blog of my own url design.pixelgroups.com which has a lot of tutorials on web design and flash. I have placed them after trying out myself and that how I post them. I have also placed a lot of nice links on my blog which I think are important and visitors on my blog will get better info from these links.
