Looking for a Pet

What is the best way to acquire a new pooch? I prefere pure, small bred due to living space. What is the most you would pay? Are there any pet stores where you can actually go look at a pet and make a decision?

I would suggest you get a Shih Tzu. It is a small breed, friendly and loveable.Where are you from? In my country we can get it from a pet shop for $100. I guess it is reasonable for a pet. You will never regret it.

You can go to just about any pet store and buy a dog but you will literally pay an arm and a leg to buy it lol. Your best bet would be to find breeders in your area and buy from them. If you drive around on the weekends in your area you will probably find someone selling or giving them away on the sides of the road but be careful because alot of those are sick. Also try the humane society in your part of town. Here in AZ we have a website called AZfamily.com and they have a place for classieds where we can look.
Don't forget to look in the newspapers as well. You can always find something in those. Good luck to you!
