are you living with your in-laws?how's it like? well, i'm not living with my in-laws but it's kinda same as if she is living with us. she comes everyday while she lives nearby and her garden is in our place as well as her chickens. i don't have a problem with her only that sometimes i don't have lots of privacy and sometimes she interfere with family decisions(my family). how about you?

There is NO way I could or even would live with my in-laws. My MIL made a bad impression with me the first time I met her. She and her husband to be (my hubby's parents are divorced) sat on the love seat in my living room looking like 2 teenagers making out in the backseat of a car. Now granted I don't have a problem with what they were doing, however there is a time and place for everything and that was not the time NOR place for it. And as for my FIL, I couldn't live with him either as his new wife is a chain smoker (3+ packs a day) and I just cannot tolerate the smoke.

I am fortunate because my in-laws live several miles away from us and communication is therefore limited....at present, my mother-in-law in on vacation; she's in Cag de Oro now, but will soon go back to Hawaii where her 3 children with their families are based. Some of my husband's siblings are in Cagayan, one in Cebu, the other one in California...they're so far away we don't have direct contact always...So I can't say of any problems with them...You just have to adjust and adapt to this kind of arrangement with your in-law...anyway, you are still the mother of your children, so you should have the last say on matters affecting your own family...family interferences from in-laws are common, we just have to live with it...
