i find it funny how religion tries to further itself from the idea of money.. and yet.. its on the money. take away god, spirituality and morals from religion and what do you get? you get "in god we trust" (or money/cooperation)

I dont really know how you think that religion tries to further itself from money....It is necessary to live, so I dont know how we could do that. I think having In God we trust on the money is good. If you think about it it serves a purpose. Our foundation in the US came from people wanting religious freedom. Freedom to worship how they please. God has been & always will be there for us. Money, is something that we must have, but it isnt where our trust or faith should be placed it should be placed in God& I think it serves as a good reminder, and helps bring the focus back to God rather than money.

well, we wanted religious freedom. And yes we have the freedom to worship the devil if we please, it is called free will. God gave us free will. sO we have the power and the freedom to do what we want. Although he has set guidlines in the bible in which if we would like to spend eternity with him, we must follow.

lol..im having this discussion with you in another discussion.. but.. gods omnipotence (or destiny) cannot be co-existent with free will.
