Itchy Dogs

My mom has a terrier and a golden retreiver. Both lately have been really itching. We've tried soothing shampoos, flea stuff, etc. You name it, we've tried it. Lately Jack *the golden ret* has been getting rashes on his belly. We've looked for fleas and ticks on them and we haven't found a thing. Can anyone suggest anything?

I would take it to the vet it sounds like an allergy and the vet can give it an injection for this, otherwise maybe try washing it in woolwash that had no dyes and perfumes in it.

Yes it can, but surely there is an antihystermine or cortozone that can given once (I really dont know), but to save the poor dog from going absolutely insane from scratching I would go and see what they suggest.

maybe your golden retriever is feeling hot, try to bring him indoors when its hot outside and put an electric fan in front of him. golden retievers are very sensitive to heat they itch easily
