Anyone like these three television shows? Two of them air on the Bravo Network and one on Fox. I enjoy all three programs. Is anyone considering trying out for the Next Food Network Star? There are open auditions on Myspace, in case you have not heard. Could be a lot of fun!!

I love Top Chef. It is currently my favorite the reality show. The other two are OK, but that is my favorite. I mean, who lets you see people cook with GeoDuck? The food is often odd and that is fun, plus the interaction between the contestants is a riot.

Thanks for the comment. Top Chef is great! GeoDuck, pretty incredible! Do you have a favorite contestant this season? They are all very talented. By the way, I would like to correct a mistake in my original post: One show is on Food Network, one on Fox and one on Bravo. Sorry for the confusion.

I really like Lia and Tre, but I wouldn't be sad if Howie won. Although Hung is entertaining, I cannot stand his attitude. Which one(s) are your favorite?

Good question. Hung does have a cocky attitude, you are right, but he can cook! I like Dale, Howie, CJ, Brian, Sara, and one or two others. A few of my favorites were booted already :

I watch Top Chef and The Next Food Network Star. I enjoyed Food Network's show more than I'm enjoying (trying to)this season's Top Chef. I really liked all the finalists in the Food Network contest (except Colombe) so it was exciting to see who would make it to the end. This season's Top Chef isn't as impressive as the first two seasons. Harold is so talented, and I don't think they've been able to find anyone with his calibre. I don't think Elan will turn out as successful as Harold is and will continue to be.

Yes, we too were surprised by the Elan selection. It was mind-boggling to say the least although I am sure he is a great chef. Thanks for the comment.

I have seen a couple of episodes of Hells Kitchen. I think that one is great, just right now I don't have time to watch much TV. I haven't seen the other ones, though, I will have to check them out. No, I would not consider doing any of these reality shows, I would be to embarrassed I think.

I love all 3 shows. Top Chef is my favorite, followed by Hell's Kitchen then Next Food Network Star. I think it's funny that they're all running their current season at the same time.

Thanks for the comments. I am glad they do not all air at the same time, that would be unfortunate! It is nice to have one on Sunday night, one on Monday night and the other on Wednesday night.

I only watch Top Chef and haven't watched the other two. I find the dynamics in the kitchen of Top chef interesting specially when we get to the drama part when chefs throw each other on the bus just to deny elimination. I did love season 2 of all 3 seasons. Chefs from season 2 are the best in terms of creativity and skills. I love Lee-ann from season 1, Elia and Sam from season 2, and Micah and Casey in Season 3.

I actually tried out for Hells Kitchen, I did not make it but made it into the final 30 that they were choosing from. It was very exciting. Aingealicia
