Arthritis can be a irritating disease, of course aside from being a painful one.. my brother suffers from a rheumatoid arthritis.. and i advised him not to eat foods with cholesterol and not to drink alcohol.. i suppose he already learned his lessons. i also told him to do not so strenuous exercise for his legs especially on his knees.. he hasn't gone to the doctor yet but we are quite sure its rheumatoid arthritis.. are there any herbal medicines which can cure this kind illness? and if yes, has anyone tried to treat this illness with herbal medicines and proved it to be effective?

Any kind of arthritis usually presents inflammation in the joints. Some things that are good to reduce the inflammation are turmeric and ginger.
You can also get black cherry extract capsules or tablets at the health food store which help with things like arthritis and gout.
MSM helps with most kinds of aches and pains and helps increase energy and stamina.
You could also try 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with 2 tablespoons of honey in a cup of hot water every morning.
If you suspect rheumatoid arthritis the sooner you get to your Dr., the better off you will be. None of the remedies above will harm you, but you must be diligent in taking them for them to do any good.
OF course a lifestyle change like eating more fruits and veggies and cutting out fast foods is a must.
