I'm in the midst of doing them now. There are discussions that go back a month ago that I haven't resolved yet. I'm sure it isn't fair for those who have responded to my discussions and I'm really sorry it took me this long guys. I'm sorting them all right now.. It'll take a while though to find the best response..
Have you guys resolved all your discussions yet? If you have, then good for you... :)

No. I think that I would like to keep 1 maybe 2 pages open so people have time to respond before I pick best response.
I am at around 5 pages right now and trying to get the number down at least before the end of the month.

Wow, 5 pages? Maybe you should start resolving those discussions. But then again, if you think you could resolve it in no time, then who am I to talk. Good luck with that~! :)

Hi,mean_queen!
None of my discussions are resolved. At the first place,I just have started less than ten discussions and each discussion just has got less than 10 responses.Secondly,I hope that all my discussions will get more response so that I decide to leave them there. That's why I have not resolved my discussions.

Whoaa.. I think that maybe you should just start resolving them anyway. Well, that's just my opinion because I don't like seeing too many unresolved discussions adding up.. :D

I am always doing the best I can to resolve most of it, but I also have discussions with no response to resolve and choose a best response out of it.
Since the start the "best Response" feature was introduced, I always resolve every post I make that was provided replies from other mylot members. I do try to visit my own post and resolve every once in a while, to boost other members in participating more and give their best opinions on every topic that is being discussed..

Yes, I always resolve all of the topics that I post, because I only create a new thread when I'm genuinely interested in a topic. Thus, it would be pointless to leave the discussion once I've received replies to it.

I always do, I resolve them after 1 week. I don't like having "unfinished" things about. I feel a week is long enough to get good responses to pick from. There are many people I respond to that never choose a best response. I wonder what they would do if they ever had to sort through them all... lol. Good for you cleaning out all your discussions. Good luck with picking all the best responses.

Gosh, that sounds like me trying to go through all at once.. It's crazy.. I got more than 20 more discussions to resolve! Slowww and steadyyy.. I think I'll do that from now on. Just give a week. I guess that's reasonable enough..

I still have a few discussions waiting for me to resolve it. I haven't done so as I have to mark the best response after a few days. Then at least it'll be fair to select the best answer. I can't make the decision right away, so I have to wait for some time to see whether there will be better responses.

Yeah, that's the reason why I've been leaving my discussions unresolved. But now that I wanna resolve them, there are A LOT that I need to go through.. lol. Well, it's only fair for those who have responded I guess.. :)

Hello mean_queen,
I am not very sure whether it is a must for us to resolve the discussion. I never chose the best response as when I re-read all the responses to my discussions, I felt like more than one responses are eligible for best responses. It is very hard to choose. As the result, all my discussions are unresolved.

I don't know about the rest but I just feel it's fair to reward a best response to our friends who have responded to our discussions. For me, it's just a sign of appreciation. :)

I try to go through and resolve them after at least 2 to 3 weeks. I think it's crazy when people resolve them in less than 24 hours. I usually let them go about 3 weeks and then choose responses. Sometimes it's hard to choose though because if you act a question like "what food wouldn't you want to give up" how do you decide who answers it best? but i do resolve the discussions after a month at most.

Yeah~! Sometimes it it hard to choose especially when there are so many good answers. I choose mine based on how elaborate that person responds and also how sincere that person is in responding to my discussions. Some people just repsond for the sake of increasing their posts so I don't really give those BRs. I've always liked your responses though.. :D

that's pretty much how I choose too. I guess since this is a money making website it's expected that there are those people who are just in it for a quick buck. It's pretty sad, cause it's not like this is a get rich quick type place. It's sad people even think those things exist. but eh. oh well!

Till now I always respond back all the discussion I started before. I am not sure if I missed them. But I never mark any for the best response, only rated them. Is it necessary? I dont know coz I am new around.

Well, I think it's entirely up to you if you want to mark best response or not. For me, I think it is necessary because I think it's only fair to mark best response to those who have responded to our discussions. It's some sort of appreciation I show to others. That's how I perceive it.. :)

Hello mean_queen! By the end of each month I do what I can to resolve my discussions so the BR winner gets rewarded for having the best response. At any given time, I may have up to 20 unresolved discussions pending, but you do need to give other members a decent chance to reply.
Since I reply to more discussions than I start, I've noticed members that give out BRs as early as the same day the discussion started up to several months later, so it's basically a matter of personal preference on when it's given. I just hate to give it out too early as I've also noticed many discussions where members reply that they will not respond to a discussion if it already has a BR selected.
Best of Luck in getting (and keeping) your unresolved discussions under control. :)

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I've even seen one given to the first person within the same day! I usually take a month to award BRs. But since there's a lot of discussions I need to go through each month, I think I'll stop at 3 weeks.. :)

I try to do them at least once a week, but sometimes I just don't have time to. Also, there are some that do not have responses so that makes it difficult to resolve them.

i have less than 10 unresolved discussions right now... could be about 5-6 of them. i recentl resolved some of them and i'm planning to resolve them later in the week. it's not always easy to award the best response especially if you are torn with two or more great responses. :)

I spent some time resolving mine last week and it was all resolved for a minute or two. But this week, I am starting more discussions and I would want to wait for another week to resolve mine all together. I think I would develop a habit of resolving all my discussions like twice a month. That would keep me organized.

I didn't realize what the unresolved discussions part meant. I did some when the answers were really good along the way, but most of mine I haven't done. Thanks for reminding me. lol
