Sunscreen or no?

Do you cook in the sun, or do you protect your skin with sunscreen?

I use suncream though as younger ones do when I was younger I avoided it where possible.
I don't like the sensation of the cream though it'll be well worth it.
I don't fancy preparing myself for someone to eat.

I work in a DermatoPathologists office and I cannot tell you how many cases my boss diagnosis with Melanoma each week, it must be at least 5. That doesn't seem like much, but considering the number of patients' we see each week, that's about 5%. That's a scary number. I asked this question hoping to get a lot of responses so I can guage how seriously people take skin care. Apparently not very seriously. Guess we'll all be looking like leather...
