I don't think it's time to panic but I think there are things we can do to better the environment around us. At least in the USA we use about 40% of the world's resources and we only account for 6% of the population! That's horrible! I try to find new ways to use less and use less resources for myself. Every little thing helps, even if it's super small! That's the reason why I became a vegetarian!

Now is a good time to panic and to remain scared enough to become pro-active. There are so many things that an individual can do that would help, it's incredible. If everyone did just one of these things, it would help tremdously. What can we do. Just type "global warming into a search engine and you will get a lot of suggestions. Try the one that Al Gore is involved in. It is getting a lot of attention and the best suggestions are sent to his organization since they get a lot of attention. The world wide concert on July 7th was one big effort and a giant attention getter.

yes, if you are not scared or worried that means you dont care. thanks for the response.
we should also teach our kids or teach students to be aware and everybody must give their helping hand for this.
we live in the same world so we have to be helping each other in this.

I also happen to be worried because I just bought a house and live near the coast of the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. The melting of the polar ice caps could put everyone who lives in a coastal area under water.

plant more trees .stop using vehicles for unnecessary travels.and make other people aware about carbon credit and stuff like .that.always go for environment friendly vehicles and gadgets.you're a conscious person.panicing doesn't help to lessen the deterioration of climate and atmosphere

we have seen the effects of global warming... there are more to come... it's really scary. there are things that already have happened to mother earth that are irreversible. there are also things that we can still do to heal the wounds that we have caused mother earth. hopefully, more people realize the role they have to play to protect ourselves and the future generations against the effects of the destruction of our environment.
