Paste right may help for more posting as well as for more earnings!!

Dear nill_07 I think whatever mylot has thought about limiting users from copy paste option till they reach 500 posts is a right thing because I have seen many timepassers kind of users here who just keep on promoting their links of other sites which is simply irritating .. if everybody gets this benefit then users with 0 or 1 or 2 posts will become higher violaters of mylot and it will become hard for mylot staff to block them from mylot .. so it's good to keep the limit. If a user will reach 500 post that will only mean that the user is really interested in mylot and will not violate here. So to overcome violation problem this rule has been made. I really don't have any idea about the news section you are talking about .. though I have seen it many times .. but it won't increase anything in our earnings. I really don't like that .. I only like discussions, posting discussions and interacting with people worldwide .. no doubt I love to make friends here as well.

First of all, the reason Mylot put a stop to the copy and paste feature was because there were too many members that were stealing articles and text from other websites, which is considered plagiarism and often copyright infringement. This is not only a violation of Mylot's rules but it is unethical and legally if the original author finds out you stole their words without paying them to use it or asking them for permission you can be in legal trouble. SO, Mylot decided that they would try to eliminate the problem or at least make it known that it wouldn't be tolerated by taking the right away from us and then giving it back as a reward. See in the early days on Mylot you could always copy and paste, but members that cheated and scammed by plagiarizing and copyright infringement ruined it for everyone. The only things you can use copy and paste for once you reach 500 is this: 1) Typing your discussions or responses into word or other word like program to check for grammar and spelling and then copy and pasting your OWN words into the mylot site. 2) When you write your OWN worded discussion and find a quote or snip of relevant text on a site that backs up what you wrote about, you can QUOTE a small snip of the text and then give the link to where other members can find the rest of the article. ****YOU CANNOT, I REPEAT YOU CANNOT copy and paste a whole article or news article you find on some other site and consider it your discussion. This is a violation of mylot rules and the words you used are not your own. You can't even copy and paste these articles and give the link to where you found it because it isn't considered a DISCUSSION but rather you trying to be paid for something someone else wrote, which is illegal, a violation, and unethical. 3) Copy and paste also comes in handy when you create a discussion or response and want to give an accurate and correct web-address to information that can be important and deals with the topic you have written about. Basically, every discussion and response created on Mylot must be your own written words and not someone elses, making the copy and paste feature really unnecessary when you think about it. If you are caught copy and pasting text and articles that belong to someone else you will be reported and you risk having your account banned on Mylot. Best advice is to not drive yourself crazy to reach 500 because you cannot use it to cheat on Mylot.
