Shahid Afridi backs ICC's free-hit rule

Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi said he favoured the ICC's new rule of awarding a free hit to batsman after a no ball delivery in One-dayers.

Though some may say that the reason he is supporting is.. to make use of the rule, I think on the other side this rule makes the bowlers much more dedicated towards their game. But there are also some problems in this rule. The bowlers feel much more stress than now..

It is no doubt that players like Afridi support this. Because he is a hitter and a person who takes risk at any time. To his point of view he gets a ball that can be taken without even a risk. ... But I hope it would change the beauty of the game..............
