Do you enjoy doing the same sort of things as your partner?

I like to go out to many places during the weekend. I enjoy really long walks, for example. My partner likes to stay at home a lot at the weekend, going to a few places as possible. So my type of weekend is tiring for him and his sort of weekend is boring for me.
Do you enjoy doing the same sort of things as your partner?

you can't expect everyone to be of the same frequency as yours.Your partner may have different interests. But there will be great pleasure in giving up your interest for your partner. This would be even more great if this understanding is mutual. And I can't answer your question bcoz I don't have a partner(LOL)

You still can have friends(bf or gf) who are in the same band width as yours and share your same interests. It would be great to be with a person who has the same interest as yours. What is your bf doing now?

Yes I do. Actually I like doing things as a family with our soon to be 5 year old son as opposed to just the two of us. It wouldn't be much fun without our son. It's mostly movies, malls, games, and time out at the park.

Sometimes my partner and I are in the mood to do the same kind of thing and sometimes we are not. He works full time so on his days off he likes to just relax, which I understand. Neither of us are really interested in going out a lot, plus we can't afford it. Once in awhile we will go walking at the park or play tennis together, but usually he is the one who wants to play and I am not in the mood. We watch a lot of television together and rent movies, too. Every monday we have "date night" where we take turns treating the other to dinner or a movie or something. That is something we can both look forward to if we haven't been able to spend a lot of time together during the rest of the week. Anyway, I find that if there is something I am in the mood to do and I don't think he will want to I usually have to ask if he'd like to do it in a few days or something and he'll usually agree because he has time to prepare for it, I guess :P

I enjoy some things that my partner does. However, we are kinda different when it comes to doing things. He could stay in the house all day and be fine but I am more adventurous!

yes i do. we have the same interest except for his likeness to classical musics (which am learning to like too.), we both share the same interest in movies. he prefers to stay home on friday nights while i want to go clubbing but we can always reconcile the difference. we're both spontaneous so we do not really have this fixed thing on 'what-to-dos'....

My husband likes to play video games, which I do some, but not nearly as much as him. I like to get out of the house too. We sound pretty similar to you and your partner. I think it's boring to always stay at home and he doesn't care for being out for hours. I don't like to be gone for long, just long enough to satisfy me. I hate being cooped up in the house. I have to say though, he is always patient and he usually goes wherever I want with minimal grumbling.:)

yeah we really enjoy each other company and do same sort of things. but it more happier if both of you have differences. Because you can share to your partner and teach him how to love it... then he can also show you what he love to do. it's more on vice versa thing. It's really fun you know =) it's kinda boring if everything you want he/she also want. Sometime its also fun if both of you are picking a fight not in the sense of argument.. its more on teasing or joking around. =)
